A 10-year-old girl was transported to the hospital after falling from a chairlift at Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard Centre on Saturday night (Feb. 8).
Incident Details
According to Halton police media relations officer Jeff Dillon, the incident occurred around 8 p.m., when the child slid off a slippery chairlift and fell approximately eight to ten feet into a pile of snow below.
Ski patrol and resort staff quickly responded, followed by emergency services. Paramedics and firefighters arrived at the scene, and the girl was taken to the hospital as a precaution. While she reportedly suffered minor injuries, the full extent of her condition has not been disclosed.

Milton Fire and Rescue Services Deputy Chief Matt Townsend confirmed that his team assisted Halton EMS in responding to the situation.
