100 Women Who Care Milton to Donate to Local Charity in July

100 Women Who Care Milton has scheduled their third gathering of 2024.

At these meetings, the group listens to presentations from three local charities, then votes to decide which one will receive donations from each member. Typically, members donate $100 each, but since the pandemic, they've used a ‘donate-what-you-can’ approach.

In April, Shifra Homes was selected to receive $7,500. This organization helps women who are uncertain about parenting, fleeing violence, or rebuilding their lives through their Residential and Seeds of Hope Programs.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, July 10th, at Springridge Farm, 7256 Bell School Line. Registration starts at 6:00 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. and lasting about an hour. Shifra Homes will attend to share how they've used the donation.
