$30,000 raised in 5th Annual Run for Milton.
Milton came out strong for a local charity event.
The 5th Annual Run for Milton launched at 9 a.m. on Oct. 16 from the Mattamy National Cycling Centre. The 5 km run or 1 km fun walk raised roughly $30,000 in support of the Milton District Hospital.
The event was organized by Mercy 4 Mankind, a subsidiary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association.
The Run for Milton has been on a two-year hiatus as a result of the pandemic.
