The HRPS has updated its crime map, which shows where and when crimes were reported in Milton. Between Monday, March 25th, and Monday, April 1st, there were at least 41 reported crimes.
Here's what we know:
Out of the 41 potential crime cases:
14 involved theft of some kind.
5 were hit-and-run cases.
1 was a robbery.
Given the number of thefts and thefts from vehicles, HRPS wants to remind everyone to take steps to prevent theft:
Always lock your unattended vehicles and make sure they're secure.
Don't leave spare keys in your vehicle.
Keep valuable items out of sight.
Consider installing an alarm in your vehicle.
