At least 29 cases of crime reported in Milton over the last week.


The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has released the latest crime stats report, along with the CityProtect crime map.

The report and map each detail when and where reported crimes took place in Milton.

Between Monday, September 19th and Monday, September 26th, their were at least 29 cases of crime took place.


Here’s what we found:

  • A theft from vehicle case on Hayward Crescent on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft case on Ontario Street South on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Steeles Avenue on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Ferguson Drive on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on McDowell Crescent on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft case on Cusick Circle on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft from vehicle case on Nakerville Crescent on Monday, September 19th;

  • a quality of life case in the area of Campbellville Road and Tremaine Road on Monday, September 19th;

  • a theft case on Williams Avenue on Wednesday, September 21st;

  • a theft from vehicle case on Ontario Street North on Thursday, September 22nd;

  • a property crime case on Ontario Street North on Thursday, September 22nd;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Dolby Crescent on Thursday, September 22nd;

  • a theft case on Steeles Avenue on Thursday, September 22nd;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Tremaine Road on Thursday, September 22nd;

  • a theft case on Costigan Road on Friday, September 23rd;

  • a breaking and entering case on Bronte Street South on Friday, September 23rd;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Bundy Drive on Saturday, September 24th;

  • a property crime case on Harrop Drive on Saturday, September 24th;

  • an assault case on Steeles Avenue on Saturday, September 24th;

  • a theft case on Steeles Avenue on Saturday, September 24th;

  • a property crime case on Cooper Avenue on Saturday, September 24th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Ellenton Crescent on Saturday, September 24th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Connaught Terrace Saturday, September 24th;

  • an assault case on Clifford Point on Saturday, September 24th;

  • a property crime case on Thompson Road South on Sunday, September 25th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Rolph Terrace on Sunday, September 25th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Beaty Trail on Sunday, September 25th;

  • a theft of vehicle case on Sauve Street on Sunday, September 25th; and,

  • a breaking and entering case on Main Street North in Campbellville on Sunday, September 25th.

Of the 29 cases of crime, 20 were theft cases of some kind, 4 were property crime cases, 2 were breaking and entering cases, 2 were assault cases, and 1 was a quality of life case.


With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:

  • Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;

  • Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;

  • Remove valuables from plain view; and,

  • Equip you're vehicle with an alarm.
