At Least 42 Potential Crime Cases Reported in Milton Last Week

The latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) shows at least 42 reported crime cases in Milton between Monday, July 29th, and Monday, August 6th.

Here's what we found:

  • 17 cases were theft-related.

  • 8 were hit and runs.

  • 2 were outright robberies.

Given the number of theft cases, HRPS offers these tips to prevent theft:

  • Lock and secure your unattended vehicle(s).

  • Never leave spare keys in your vehicle.

  • Remove valuables from plain sight.

  • Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
