BR(Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School) Hacks Awards Ceremony Celebrates Innovation and Inspires Future Tech Leaders in Milton.

Today, Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School in Milton, Ontario, hosted the Awards Ceremony for this year’s BR Hacks, a Hackathon held last month. The event brought together students from high schools across Milton, showcasing their creativity and technical skills. This year’s winners included talented teams from both Craig Kielburger Secondary School and Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School.

The ceremony featured special guest speakers, MP Adam van Koeverden and MPP Zee Hamid, who addressed the students, commending their innovative efforts and presenting Award Scrolls to the winning teams. Their speeches highlighted the importance of technology, collaboration, and fostering future leaders in the tech industry.

Following the awards presentation, attendees engaged in vibrant discussions about technology, career opportunities, and education. There was also significant interest in organizing a future Hackathon specifically for grade 7 and 8 students across Milton, set to take place in the new year. The event not only celebrated student achievements but also inspired the next generation of innovators and creators.
