Dorchester Man Charged in Fatal Milton Hit-and-Run Crash Involving 68-Year-Old Woman
MILTON, Mass. — A Dorchester man faces charges, including motor vehicle homicide, following a fatal crash in Milton on Sunday night.
Police responded to Reedsdale Road shortly after 6:00 p.m., where they found 68-year-old Donna Clarke lying in the roadway. Clarke appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, though no vehicles or drivers remained at the scene. Clarke was transported to Beth Israel Milton Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Approximately 20 minutes later, a man driving a maroon Toyota SUV returned to the scene and spoke with officers. The vehicle showed damage consistent with the incident, and statements made by the driver connected the SUV to the crash.
The driver, identified as 65-year-old Wallace Wilson, Jr., of Dorchester, was subsequently arrested and charged with motor vehicle homicide (OUI-Liquor) and leaving the scene of an accident-causing death. Wilson pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Quincy District Court on Monday and was held on $5,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 26, 2024, in Quincy District Court.
