A motorist in rural Milton is dealing with serious penalties after being caught speeding earlier this week. The driver was clocked at 105 km/h in a 60 km/h zone near No. 20 Sideroad and First Nassagaweya Line — nearly double the speed limit.
Due to the excessive speed, police impounded the vehicle for 14 days and suspended the driver’s license for 30 days under Ontario’s tough stunt driving laws.
Let this be a reminder: speed limits are there for everyone’s safety.
