Driver Nabbed for Going Twice the Speed Limit in Milton

A young driver is facing severe consequences after being caught driving at more than twice the speed limit in Milton.

According to Halton Police, the G2-licensed driver was clocked going 126 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

Police are using the incident to remind motorists that while everyone may be in a hurry, excessive speeding is dangerous and unacceptable.

As a result of the stunt driving charge, the driver's license has been suspended for 30 days, and their vehicle has been impounded for 14 days under Ontario’s tough stunt driving laws.
