Enhance Your English Speaking Skills with Classes at Milton Library.

Looking to improve your English and connect with others in the community? Halton Multicultural Council Connections is hosting its English Conversation Circle this fall at Milton Public Library branches, offering a welcoming space for adults, seniors, and newcomers of all skill levels.

Classes focus on building vocabulary, improving pronunciation, and practicing conversational skills in real-life scenarios. Led by experienced instructors, each session includes group discussions, role-play activities, and exercises designed to help participants gain confidence and fluency in English.

The English Conversation Circle sessions are held at both the Main and Sherwood branches of Milton Public Library:

  • Main Branch (1010 Main St.): Tuesday evenings, with sessions for novice/basic learners at 5 p.m. and advanced learners at 6:15 p.m.

  • Sherwood Branch (6355 Main St.): Thursdays, 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. for intermediate learners.

These free classes offer a valuable opportunity to improve your English for work, social interactions, or personal development while building connections in a supportive environment.
