Explosion at a factory in Milton; one worker hurt.

One person was hospitalized following an explosion at a Milton factory this morning, November 9.

According to reports, the explosion happened at a manufacturing facility near Roxul Road and Steeles Avenue around nine in the morning.

To limit the damage to the explosion's site, the Milton Fire Department and other emergency crews arrived on the scene.

Although the worker's injuries were not severe, paramedics treated him or her on the spot before transporting him or her to the hospital.

The Ministry of Labor, the police, and the fire department are still looking into the incident's origin.
