Glen Eden to Temporarily Close for a Day Due to Weather Conditions

Writer's picture: Sana ShahidSana Shahid

Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard Centre will be closed for one day this week due to warmer temperatures and an incoming rainstorm. The temporary closure will take place on Wednesday, March 6th, as Conservation Halton pauses operations to preserve and restore the slopes.

With rain in the forecast, Conservation Halton is also warning residents of rising water levels in the area. Those near streams, rivers, and low-lying areas should remain cautious.

The closure will allow Glen Eden’s snow groomers to work uninterrupted, helping to maintain the ski and snowboard conditions as best as possible.

Additionally, with spring officially starting on March 20th, Glen Eden is approaching the final stretch of its season. Skiers and snowboarders should make the most of the remaining days before the season wraps up for the year.
