A Milton man was arrested by the Halton Regional Police for driving under the influence early Sunday morning. At around 1:45 a.m. on March 5th, police received a report of a vehicle swerving out of its lane while heading westbound on Campbellville Rd in the rural area of Milton. The police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver for impaired driving.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The driver has been charged, but the police have not disclosed the details to the public.
The Halton police are appealing to drivers to make responsible decisions and avoid drinking and driving.
