The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed that the missing teenager from Milton has been found safe and in good health.
The 13-year-old had been reported missing earlier today after last being seen at approximately 8:40 a.m. in the area of Thompson Road South and Yates Drive. Police issued a public appeal for assistance in locating him, citing concerns for his well-being.
Thanks to the efforts of the HRPS and the community, the teenager was located later in the day. Out of respect for his privacy, the police have requested the removal of his name and image from media reports.
Background:
The teenager was described as a 13-year-old male with brown skin, standing around 5'5" tall, weighing approximately 100 lbs, and having a thin build. At the time he went missing, he was wearing a dark grey zip-up hoodie, a blue T-shirt, black pants, and black running shoes with a yellow stripe.
The HRPS and the boy's family expressed significant concern for his safety, prompting a swift response from the community and police.
With the boy now safe, police have expressed their gratitude to everyone who assisted in sharing information or helping with the search.
