Was Your Bike Stolen? Halton Police Might Have It

Halton Regional Police have found several stolen bikes and electric scooters and are looking for their owners.

On Saturday, October 12th, police searched a home near Yates Drive and Thompson Road South in Milton during an investigation into bike thefts. They recovered multiple stolen bikes and two electric scooters. While some owners have been identified, police are still trying to find the owners of five bikes and the two scooters.

If your bike or scooter was stolen in Milton recently and you haven't reported it, you're asked to call the police at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416.

A 38-year-old man from Milton has been arrested and charged with several crimes, including bike theft and unauthorized use of a credit card. He is awaiting a bail hearing.

The investigation is ongoing with more charges and arrests anticipated and anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416.
