Who’s Running in Milton’s New Ridings for the Upcoming Federal Election?

Milton residents will elect two Members of Parliament (MPs) in the upcoming federal election on April 28, following a mandatory federal boundary review conducted every decade to reflect population shifts.
As a result of this review, Milton has been divided into two new ridings: Burlington North-Milton West and Milton East-Halton Hills South.
Candidates in Each Riding
As of the afternoon of March 26, the following candidates have announced their intention to run. Elections Canada will confirm official nominations after the April 7 deadline.
Burlington North-Milton West:
Adam van Koeverden (Liberal)

New Riding Boundaries
Burlington North-Milton West
This riding includes:
The northwest section of Burlington, from Kerns Road and Dundas Street, extending along major roads including Highway 407, Guelph Line, Upper Middle Road, Walkers Line, and Queen Elizabeth Way to Burloak Drive.
The southwest section of Milton, starting at Lower Base Line West and Regional Road 25, extending along Ontario Street South/North, Steeles Avenue East, and Martin Street up to 5 Side Road.
Milton East-Halton Hills South
This riding includes:
The southeast part of Halton Hills, covering areas from Nassagaweya-Esquesing Townline to Trafalgar Road, Highway 7, and Winston Churchill Boulevard.
The northeast part of Milton, including Lower Base Line West, Regional Road 25, Ontario Street South/North, Steeles Avenue East, and Martin Street up to 5 Side Road.
With these changes, Milton voters will now select representatives from two separate ridings for the first time in the upcoming election.
