Two homes in Milton were hit by thieves on Friday night (Nov. 1), according to Halton police. The first break-in occurred on Costigan Road, where jewelry and electronics were stolen sometime between 6 p.m. and midnight. During a similar timeframe, from 5 p.m. to midnight, a second home on Roper Drive was also targeted, with jewelry reported missing.
In both cases, the homeowners were not present, and entry was forced by prying open the front doors. Police have not provided an estimated value for the stolen property, and no suspect description is available at this time.
Although both break-ins share similarities, police have found no evidence indicating that the incidents are connected. Authorities are urging residents to be vigilant, secure their homes, and report any unusual activity in their neighborhoods as they continue investigating the break-ins.
