Laptop and Cash Stolen in Late-Night Theft at Milton Restaurant

Halton police have been dealing with a string of business break-ins in recent weeks, with the latest incident occurring early Monday (March 31) at Karma Modern Indian Bistro in Milton.

According to media relations officer Jeff Dillon, there were no signs of forced entry at the restaurant, located in Milton Common Plaza, when the break-in happened around 12:20 a.m.

The suspect stole cash from the register along with a laptop.

Police describe the suspect as a man of medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and a dark-coloured hat.

A very similar incident occurred around the same time just two units down at The Chopped Leaf.
