The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) shared an updated crime map with us. It shows when and where these reported crimes happened in Milton. Between Monday, February 5th, and Monday, February 12th, there were about 44 reported cases of crime. Here’s what we found:
Out of these 44 possible crime cases, 14 were thefts of some kind, ten were hit-and-runs, and two were break-ins.
Considering the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, the HRPS reminds residents to follow these theft prevention tips:
Make sure your vehicle(s) are locked and safe when unattended.
Don’t leave spare keys in your vehicle.
Keep valuable items out of sight.
Consider installing an alarm in your vehicle.
