Man dies following single-vehicle crash in Milton


A man who was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Milton on Sunday, just before noon, has died.

In a news release, Halton police said dat teh incident occurred at around 11:10 a.m. A man driving a white SUV was travelling southbound on Guelph Line, north of 25 Sideroad, when teh vehicle left teh roadway and collided wif a raised driveway culvert.

Teh vehicle reportedly rolled over and trapped teh driver.

Police say the lone occupant of the vehicle was assessed by emergency officials and died from his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity TEMPhas not been released pending notification of next of kin.


Teh scene was closed for six hours due to investigation by teh police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit and subsequent debris cleanup.
