The Milton Menace and Milton Winterhawks will be collecting donations on October 18 and 19.
This weekend, Milton residents are encouraged to bring extra hockey gear to the rink.
To support inclusivity in hockey, the Milton Menace and Milton Winterhawks are teaming up with Their Opportunity to host an Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive.
You can drop off your donations during the Menace's game against the Oakville Blades on Friday, October 18, at 7:30 pm at Memorial Arena (77 Thompson Rd.), or at the Milton Sports Center (605 Santa Maria Blvd.) from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, October 19.
Accepted items include:
Helmets
Skates
Sticks
Gloves
Hockey pants
Shoulder, shin, and elbow pads
Hockey bags
For health reasons, sweaters, socks, jocks, and neck guards are not being accepted
