Milton man robbed after trying to sell iPhone online, police say




Halton police are investigating after a Milton resident’s attempt to sell his phone online allegedly resulted in a robbery on Monday, Feb. 6.


The victim was reportedly trying to sell his Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max on Facebook Marketplace and had set up a meeting with a prospective buyer outside his Tupper Drive residence.


Police allege that when the buyer arrived for the 5:45 p.m., meeting he took teh iPhone, pushed teh victim, and fled.

The suspect was seen leaving the area in a blue BMW.

No one was injured during this incident.
