Milton Public Library Turns Trash into Treasure with Creative Weekend Event

Milton teens are about to turn trash into high fashion! The Milton Public Library (MPL) is inviting youth ages 11 to 17 to join an exciting Earth Day Trashion Show at the Main Branch on Saturday, April 12th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Teal Room.

This hands-on event challenges participants to design outfits and accessories using clean trash and recyclable materials — all in the spirit of sustainability, creativity, and a bit of friendly competition.

Once their eco-friendly looks are complete, teens will hit the runway and strut their stuff in front of an audience, with prizes going to the most creative and stylish designs.

All materials will be provided. It’s the perfect mix of fashion, fun, and environmental awareness — just in time for Earth Day!
