Zara Rehman has many goals, and now she has some extra money to help her reach the biggest one.
Zara, from Milton, is studying business technology management at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is one of 10 winners of the 2024 LifeLabs Family Scholarship.
This $2,000 scholarship is given each year to outstanding children of LifeLabs employees.
Zara, whose mother Neelam Rehman is a lab patient technician, is passionate about protecting the environment. She leads a group called GenGreen, where she works on promoting sustainable living and reducing pollution.
She is also very talented in music, earning top honors in guitar exams four times.
“At Life Labs, we believe education can change lives,” said Charles Brown, President and CEO of Life Labs.
