No injuries reported after Milton townhouse fire.

A fire occurred in a townhouse on Prosser Circle, but fortunately no injuries were reported.

Around 2:30 p.m., the Milton Fire Department received a call about the fire in the Derry Road and Scott Boulevard area. Upon arrival, crews observed flames and heavy smoke emanating from one of the end units.

The fire was promptly brought under control and, as of 4 p.m., the Milton Fire Department remained on the scene to check for any remaining hot spots.

Although a woman was present in the house at the time of the fire, she was able to evacuate the home on her own.
