Oakville Woman Faces Impaired Driving Charge After Milton Traffic Complaint

Halton Regional Police have charged a 38-year-old Oakville woman with impaired driving after responding to a traffic complaint in Milton.

Officers were called to the intersection of James Snow Parkway and Clark Boulevard on January 11 at approximately 7:15 p.m. A concerned citizen reported suspicious activity involving a vehicle, prompting police to investigate.

Upon arrival, officers conducted an assessment, leading to the woman being charged with having a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 80 milligrams or more per 100 milliliters of blood within two hours of operating a vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused's identity has not been disclosed, and the charge remains unproven in court as legal proceedings are pending.

Halton Police continue to encourage residents to report suspected impaired drivers by calling 911 immediately. Public vigilance plays a crucial role in keeping roads safe.
