Past Event News: 2nd Consecutive Muharram Program Held at New Location in Milton.

Milton, Canada - The Milton chapter of Minhaj Ul Quran, a renowned non-profit organization, hosted a remarkable 2nd Consecutive Muharram Program on Sunday, July 30th, at their newly established location at 50-Steeles Avenue West, Milton. The event witnessed an impressive lineup of guest speakers and participants who made the program a resounding success.


The program commenced with a warm welcome from Kamran Siddiqi, President of Minhaj Ul Quran Milton, and the entire Executive Members Team, as they graciously greeted the distinguished guests and participants.


The highlight of the event was the esteemed Guest Speaker, Allama Ahmad Awan, Director of Education from MQI-Canada. His insightful speech captivated the audience and shed light on important topics.


Another notable performance was delivered by the world-renowned Naat Khawan, Brother Muhammad Adil Iqbal, who mesmerized everyone with his soulful recitation.


The event also featured a Quran Recitation by Qari Muhammad Shafiq Naeemi Al-Azhari, which left the audience in awe.


For English-speaking participants, Youth Speaker Hafiz Jawad Ali translated the proceedings, making the event inclusive for all attendees.


Youth Speaker Ali Ahmad Malik delivered an inspiring speech in English, encouraging the young generation to actively participate in community events and activities.


The program saw the presence of notable personalities such as Chaudhary Ghulam Sarwar, Minhaj Ul Quran Senior Executive Vice President, as well as other respected figures from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including Brother Talat Mahmood, Brother Syed Raza, Brother Iqbal Niazi, Brother Syed Rana, Brother Shakeel Khan, and many more brothers, sisters, and youth who actively engaged in the program.


The event concluded with a heartfelt Dua (supplication) following the Maghreb Salah (evening prayer), bringing a sense of spiritual unity among the attendees.


To foster a sense of camaraderie and fellowship, the program ended with a delightful food serving, allowing participants to socialize and connect with each other.


Overall, the 2nd Consecutive Muharram Program held at the newly established location was an enriching experience, providing a platform for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together and celebrate the significance of this auspicious month.
