What started as a beautiful weekend cruise quickly turned into a costly mistake for a Porsche driver in Milton.
On Sunday, April 13th, Halton Regional Police clocked the vehicle at 116 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The incident occurred in the afternoon, as many took to the roads to enjoy the spring weather.
Unfortunately for the driver, police were also out in full force—and they weren’t impressed. The car was immediately impounded, and the driver’s license suspended under Ontario’s stunt driving legislation.
Halton Police are reminding all motorists that warm weather is no excuse to speed—posted limits remain in effect, no matter how nice the day.
