Suspect wanted after breaking window, stealing jewelry from Milton store

A jewelry store in Milton, The Vault on Main Street, was broken into during the early hours of Thursday, January 2nd. At approximately 12:15 a.m., the store’s front window was smashed, and the suspect stole jewelry valued at less than $5,000 from the display.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating the incident but has limited information about the suspect at this time. A photo shared by The Vault shows the suspect, who was heavily covered to conceal their identity. The image also reveals a bicycle near the scene and suggests the use of a hammer to break the window, though HRPS has not confirmed the method used.

Anyone with information about the burglary is encouraged to contact HRPS or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers. The community is urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
