Halton police are investigating the theft of a Toyota Tundra stolen from a Milton home last week. According to media relations officer Ryan Anderson, the truck was taken overnight between February 5 and 6 from the driveway of a residence on Dewar Court, near Thompson Road and Main Street. The homeowner reportedly discovered the vehicle missing in the morning and contacted the police.
Authorities have not yet located the stolen SUV, and there is currently no description of the suspect or suspects involved. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the area in hopes of identifying any leads.
Police urge anyone with information or security camera footage from the area to come forward. Residents are also reminded to take precautions, such as locking their vehicles, parking in well-lit areas, and using anti-theft devices.
