Teens Arrested in Connection with Cell Phone Thefts Across Milton and Oakville



Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) have arrested three suspects following two bold robbery incidents targeting mobile phone stores in Milton and Oakville.

🔹 April 5, 2025 – Bell Store, Milton: At around 4:15 p.m., four masked suspects dressed in black entered the Bell store at 1099 Maple Avenue. They confronted two employees and stole multiple cell phones before fleeing in a grey Honda CRV.

🔹 April 7, 2025 – Rogers Store, Oakville (Attempted): Just two days later, HRPS officers spotted a matching grey Honda CRV outside the Rogers store at 1500 Upper Middle Road. Three masked individuals were in the vehicle. Officers acted swiftly, blocking the escape and arresting all three suspects before they entered the store.

🔍 The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen out of Toronto. After investigation, police laid multiple charges:

🧑‍⚖️ 15-Year-Old Male (Toronto):

  • Robbery

  • Disguise with Intent

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

  • Possession of Automobile Master Key

  • Possession of Break-in Instruments

  • Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence

🧑‍⚖️ Shaquane Grant (28, Toronto) and Nathan Richards-Dick (19, Toronto):

  • Robbery

  • Disguise with Intent

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

  • Possession of Automobile Master Key

  • Possession of Break-in Instruments

  • Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence🔸 Richards-Dick also faces charges for failing to comply with probation and driving under suspension.

All three suspects remain in custody awaiting a bail hearing in Milton.
