“It’s absolutely fantastic. We need more people like the Gaels and events like this,” said Jeremy Meehan, a Milton District Hospital Foundation board member, who attended last night’s launch with his family. “What can you say about something like this? It’s truly special.”
Among the crowd of young attendees waving fundraising glow sticks was Daniel Orpwood, who was chosen from dozens of entries to officially launch the display.
The Magical Lights of Milton offers a synchronized holiday experience, with its dazzling light displays set to music. Visitors can tune in to 99.7 FM from their vehicles or press a button for sound if walking by. Stars, trees, and arches of all sizes come alive in a choreographed dance to holiday tunes, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.
The display runs nightly until January 5, operating until 10 p.m. on weeknights and 10:30 p.m. on weekends (Friday to Sunday).
For those looking to support the cause, a tap machine is available at the site to make $10 or $20 donations to benefit the Milton District Hospital.
