The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the sudden death of a 69-year-old man on Highway 401 in Milton. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 11 at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the westbound lane near Guelph Line. According to OPP Sgt. Upon arriving at the scene, officers determined that the driver was without vital signs, prompting immediate life-saving efforts. The driver was transported to the hospital by Halton Region Paramedics but was pronounced deceased, as confirmed by Schmidt.
