Therapy Dogs Help Milton Students De-Stress During Exam Season

Dogs provide comfort and calm in countless ways, and Milton Public Library is bringing that soothing presence to local high school students. This week, students can participate in the Exam De-Stress sessions with St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs.

Drop-In Schedule

Here are the scheduled times to meet the therapy dogs:

  • Jan. 14

    • 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Main Branch (1010 Main St.)

    • 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Main Branch

  • Jan. 15

    • 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Main Branch

    • 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Beaty Branch (945 Fourth Line)

  • Jan. 16

    • 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Main Branch

    • 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Main Branch

    • 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Sherwood Branch (6355 Main St.)

  • Jan. 18

    • 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Main Branch

What to Expect

Students are welcome to drop in and meet the therapy dogs on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that wait times may occur to ensure the dogs are not overwhelmed or crowded.
