This weekend is a great time to relax and give thanks, as many people will enjoy a three-day break.

Monday, October 14th, is Thanksgiving Day, and several places around town will be closed.

Here’s what will be open and closed on Thanksgiving Monday:

  • Beer and LCBO:

    • Beer Store locations will be closed on Monday (regular hours on Sunday).

    • LCBO locations will also be closed on Monday (regular hours on Sunday).

  • Transit:

    • Milton Transit won’t operate on Monday.

    • GO Transit will run on a Saturday schedule.

  • Grocery Stores and Pharmacies:

    • Most grocery stores will be closed on Monday, but some Rabba Fine Foods locations will be open. Check your local store for hours.

    • Some Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall stores will be open. Call ahead or check online for hours.

  • Malls:

    • Toronto Premium Outlets will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

    • Banks and government offices will be closed on Monday.

    • No mail delivery on Monday.

    • Milton Public Library branches will be closed.

    • Waste pick-up will happen one day later than usual.
