
Zee Hamid has officially announced his candidacy for re-election as the Progressive Conservative (PC) Party candidate for Milton in the upcoming provincial election.
Hamid, a former municipal councilor and tech industry professional, has a long history of public service in Milton. He previously served three terms on Milton council and ran for mayor in 2022. He also sought the Liberal nomination in the 2015 federal election before joining the PC Party.
Hamid was elected as Milton’s MPP in the 2024 byelection, winning 12,880 votes (47.04% of the total) and defeating Ontario Liberal candidate Galen Naidoo Harris by 2,407 votes.
